7th August - A win 94-62 against North Herts & District at Letchworth City B.C. We were treated to home made fare of sandwiches, cakes and
scones with jam & cream. It was a thoroughly enjoyable event with excellent weather and we were well looked after. Margaret Eccleston.
The St Albans and District Ladies Bowling Association (SADLBA) was founded in 1975 with the objectives of promoting and fostering the game of bowls; playing matches against other Associations; and to improve generally the level of bowling. It was also intended to give working women the opportunity to enter competitions and play in the District Friday evening League.
