We are celebrating our 50th year!
11th June - lovely weather for our match with Harpenden. Harpenden made us very welcome providing us with Pimms to celebrate our 50th anniversary this year.
This was followed by an enjoyable cream tea with scones and cakes. The district won 86-66. Margaret Eccleston (Fixture Secretary)
The St Albans and District Ladies Bowling Association (SADLBA) was founded in 1975 with the objectives of promoting and fostering the game of bowls; playing matches against other Associations; and to improve generally the level of bowling. It was also intended to give working women the opportunity to enter competitions and play in the District Friday evening League.
